The Audience Club

#1 Post by mandyk » Wed Aug 25, 2010 3:24 pm

I have just noticed a reference to The Audience Club on an event ticket I was printing out from SFF and so Googled it. :star: It sounds interesting (and perhaps a bit too good to be true! ;) ) so before I part with my hard-earned, I was just wondering if anyone on here has tried it and if it's good, bad or indifferent???

Thanks for your time o/

I am a member of The Audience Club and I use it regularly but you do have to realise that there is a yearly fee (£25 if you want to book upto 2 tickets or £50 to book upto 4 tickets). Tickets are occasionally free but on the whole you only have to p*y £2.00 for each ticket book which reflects the booking fee amount)

There are a varied range of shows - there are regularly shows at the Old Vic and the Globe theatre. If you are looking for tickets for the big blockbuster shows (things like Mamma Mia, Lion King etc) then I probably wouldn't bother as these are few and far between. However, if you are looking for plays etc for little known shows then it may be worth considering. As a note, members were recently able to get Bon Jovi (many more dates than offered by SFF), Rod Stewart, Green Day, LED Festival, All the Fun of the Fair, State Fair, As you like it, Three women in an ice-cream cone, How to be the perfect housewife, Eulers Circle. Some of these have been available through SFF but they have generally been on offer a few days before and generally days after - as a note members can still get tickets for the LED for both nights.

The shows obviously tend to be across the London region so probably not much use to those that live a distance away.

Hope that covers most things but if anyone wants any more info just let me know.
