I got called and then she followed up with an email requesting a photo of myself!
sounds like fun to me and i dont mind p*ying for the meal myself as long as its not to expensive!

I got a call too, and talk about interrogation, had to answer so many questions! But I asked plenty back! I asked how much is the meal and apparently they do not know as it is depends on the contestants's and what menu they are offering and they will decide what to charge! I asked if there was an option not to p*y... she said there is an option not to eat, as we will be shown the menu!! Also, we may be successful to go on the day, but we may not be successful to dine as depends on how many covers they do, so we may just end up only watching - so no bad thing, as interesting to just watch, I think! It's going to be filmed somewhere in Islington, so that's convenient.

I hope it is not on 13 Sept though, as I want to go and see Made in Dagenham!

Yeah, she asked for a photo too! And said if I did not hear back, it will be I am unsuccessful.

I find this complete and utter rubbish. They are getting their TV audience for free and then they ask them to p*y for the meal and don't even tell them beforehand how much and what the menu is, and even though, might be you won't get food but have to watch others eat instead! Complete and utter waste of time.

Well, I think they think you are so desperate to get on tv! But I am just interested in the food and filming aspects. Anyway, stay positive, those that don't get to dine may get the leftovers! Hahaha,

This is odd that they are charging you for a meal and cannot tell you in advance what the cost will be! I mean a restaurant has to list its prices so why not a TV show with Gordon Ramsey?

I think it is because the contestants have not made the menu up and priced it yet. I am sure all will be revealed, if we get through the selection round!
