Just out of interest...

#1 Post by weirdfilms33 » Sat Sep 04, 2010 4:03 pm

Why is it that practically every single romantic comedy ever created these days is given a free preview? I'm late to the forum, so I have no idea :D

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

lol, well, just be thankful all the previews are not 15 or 18 certificate films, so best accept what there is, and there are a few film films that are absolutely not romcoms, some previews are of the quite frightening type (well actually they are romcoms but frighteningly terrible). There are also films of the disgusting nature and torture...actually they're romcoms too. Hey you're right its all bloody romcoms...

I like a good rom-com. Heck, quite often I even like a bad rom-rom!
I've enjoyed the recent run of tickets for romantic comedies. It beats the horror movies and all the things with vampires.

ahh, come on now, twilights got romance (wolf-vamp-human triangle)... thought-provoking relationships (100 year old going out with an 18 year old..ahem) and plenty of laughs - although none of the laughs are intentional..... lol

no, i'm with you, a good adult romcom is fine viewing.

perhaps sff is run by women?
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
