I thought it was pretty off to expect diners to have to p*y for their own meal, and then to give no indication of how much it might cost.
I think the television company is just playing off the fact that many people would love to be on tv and will put up with all kinds of nonsense.
I think it would be an interesting experience, and I'm sure the food will be yummy, but they are taking the p I think.
Oh well, it's got nothing to do with me any more. I'll be at home supping lentil soup!

Well, this evening was most surreal. Got selected and asked to turn up this evening, but on the condition that we sign a confidentiality undertaking that we will not write or divulge to the press or any media about our experience on the day of the filming. I can understand why, as we are filming a part which is going to be broadcast weeks later!

All I can say is that the whole experience was surreal, especially the bit where Gordon Ramsey and I just looked at each other! No words needed! :P

You are asked to p*y as much as you think it is worth, so if you feel the starter is worth £5, then you p*y £5!

It is actually the same principle as the restaurant Little Bay in Farringdon - really great food and normally only £9 for two courses before 7pm and £12 afterwards, anyway, but they had a promotion last year, where you pa*d what you think. It was near where I used to work, so haven't been there for a while.

Did you appear on tv? I did watch the programme but did not really look at the audience. Was it your table complaining about the cold apple crumble?
