Well I don't even bother with antiquated speech, my laptop has a wireless link directly to my brain which it uses to read out new messages to me and compose replies.Sunny Saver wrote:Huh? Hi guys, sorry I've missed your recent exploits. Been a tad busy at work clearing up as I finish up on Wednesday before new job starts in \october. I keep waking up stressing about things not done or problems ence me psoting this at 5am!

a_person, I agree with everything everyone else has said. You are on amzing lady and one many of us here are indebted to. give yourself credit and I hope you did fill in all those things on your form??!! The power of positive thinking is true!
Anyway, off back to try to get a little sleep!

Good luck with your new job and try and get some sleep; I'm off to work in 10 mins as have no car until Friday, so having to use public transport which will take 1 hour 15 mins instead of 20mins and there is not a soul about

My mum sat in front of me and my aunt. This woman sat next to her. This man had a pushchair with a baby in it in front of my mum. Her 'neighbour' kept saying to her:
'can you see the baby, he's really cute, he's sleeping'.
My mum said 'No, the dad's in the way'...
'Go and have a look.'
Weird or what??!!! I mean it's a baby sleeping, it's not someone we know.

Her neighbour said 'Are you lost?'
'No'.
'Are you sure? You look anxious and are looking around.'
So I said 'My mother is turning around to talk to me'
'Ok, you have your daughter with you. Are you from here?'
'Yes'
'Oh, so you are not lost'
'No, I am not lost'
Rather stupidly, I asked my mother another question and she turned to answer me.
'Are you ok?'
'Yes'
'You seem nervous'
'I asked my mother a question, so she turned to answer me, she is not nervous'.
'Are you from here?'
'Yes'
'Ok, so both you and your daughter are from here, so you know where you are and are not lost'.
Now if it were me, I would have said 'I'm not f**king lost, cos I'm on the bus and I am relying on the bus driver to know his way'. But my mum patiently answered this woman's 'Are you lost?' 'Are you nervous' 'Are you anxious' questions.
Thank goodness she got off earlier than us!
Edit: looking back on hindsight, given that she mentioned 'lost' so many times, maybe she went to the Lost showings last week and had fallen asleep only just come out.
