I would call and ask them if I were you, they might have just forgotten to mention it in the newsletter :cross:

I called the PH Greenwich and they said their free member's preview for this film is on Sunday 10 October 11am and can be booked from Monday 4th. Result, and not clashing with anything at the moment! o/

Got one for Stratford, I'll be around that area cos of lectures anyway, so works nicely, and better than an early morning rush to Brixton again.

Super duper excited.

I'm so frustrated I can't make one of these screenings! After all the amazing reviews it's been getting...
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

This is a long day for Timberlake, who has flown in from the set of new comedy Friends With Benefits— but an important one. He's promoting The Social Network, aka "The Facebook Movie," his biggest release to date. It opens Friday (USA).

For Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, the film is something like a cinematic nightmare: In it, he's depicted as a conniving, cold-hearted snake of a Harvard student who destroys friendships while building the world's most popular social network. For Timberlake, this role is a hearty step into the kind of films that attract Oscar buzz weeks before release.

Timberlake says he kicked down the door as hard as he could to play Sean Parker, the smooth-talking Napster founder-turned-Facebook president who pulls Zuckerberg into his venture-capital-rich world while persuading the upstart to bury his biggest investor, and friend.

"I read it and I thought it was a perfect screenplay," says Timberlake of The Social Network, which is written by The West Wing's Aaron Sorkin. "I knew that it was in the two percentile of material that is just great. And then I heard David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Zodiac, Fight Club) was going to be the director, and I peed in my pants a little bit." He grins.

The real Zuckerberg recently shrugged off the movie's version of events to Oprah Winfrey. "It's a movie, it's fun," he said. "A lot of it is fiction, but even the filmmakers will say that. I promise you, this is my life, so I know it's not that dramatic."

OK - hands up! Who else didn't know that Timberlake was in this film? (besides me, that is!)

I saw him in Alpha Dog a few years ago and came out a true fan. He's pretty good, wasn't too sure about him in this until I read the script, his character is the epitome of style, swagger, cocky charisma and an all round douche. Justin could play it with his eyes closed (If that's how the real guy acted of course)
It's the inventor of Napster, Timberlake is perfect for it.
