What's your OH* most annoying habit?

#1 Post by Sunny Saver » Sat Oct 16, 2010 2:42 pm

He's sitting next to me as I type... so let's hope he doesn't see this .

But what is there about your OH that makes you want to go :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:?

Mine: Whenever we stay at a hotel or B&B, he makes this big thing about making sure we've switched off all the lights, TV, air con etc, but when at home, he often leaves the house leaving the bathroom and hall light on.

*Note if you don't have an OH, feel free to state your parents'/siblings'/bf/colleagues' annoying habits.

Where do I start! Maybe his complete inability to remember things or do anything in the household until asked at least 3 times?

Beate, do you think it's a cunning plan on his part? I often think my OH does things wrong on purpose so that I get frustrated and do it myself. Maybe your OH thinks if he forgets often enough, he won't have to do it and you'll do it for him.

My 16 yr old son sits watching tv constantly flipping the remote over and over in his hand, after a while (a very short while) this really irritates me and I have to take it from him. I can even hear him from another room in the house.

Trouble is, he'll do the same thing then using his mobile or his I-pod... say's it helps him concentrate on what he's watching.
Grrr!

I know what you feel. My oh is rather lazy in terms of household chores.

I was getting slightly annoyed today. I went to 2 supermarkets, the grocery shop, the post office and prepared a traditional dish for lunch, while he was sleeping and then playing some games on facebook. The dirty dishes and pots are still lying in the sink. :(

Oh, you shouldn't let that bother you Biggins. What I do is squeeze his lips together and make him either:
1. Breathe through his nose :P; or
2. It wakes him up.
