Digital Cameras - Help Needed

I am on the PTFA at my daughter's school and am currently working with a couple of the teachers on new after school clubs.

One they are hoping to start in September is a Photography Club but our headmistress has said this cannot go ahead unless we are able to ensure equipment for all those students wishing to take part. Before the end of the school year we did a brief handout and it looks like we have four children (out of 22) interested who do not have access to a digitial camera. I have managed to secure 2 but am now desperately trying to get my hands on another two - if not three so we have a spare. Ideally we would very much like to get our hands on at least one SLR so that the students can all take turns to have a go.

If any of you, or you know of anyone, who has a digital camera in good working order please let me know. I am more than happy to p*y any postage costs involved.

It would be such as shame if this club could not go ahead considering the interest we have initially had.

Managed to secure one camera yesterday from a friend of a friend

Just need one more at least and really keen to get my hands on an SLR no matter how basic.

Please pretty please........ Any help gratefully appreciated!

I have now managed to secure 2 more cameras both compacts.

We now have enough cameras for the club to go ahead (yippee) but I would still like to get my hands on an SLR so if anyone does know of one going spare please let me know!!! A lot to ask but if I don't ask............
