Caught this at North Finchley. Fairly full up screen. Actually found myself laughing more than my gf. Is that worrying?! Made me realise "The Ugly Truth" about relationships lol! 7/10 from me.

Only just managed to get online today to do me review... so

I saw this at Gateshead on Tuesday, so pleased i got there at five past 6 'cos it filled up fast!!!
I went with the OH as he was dreading a chick flick.
Now my favourite kinds of films are predictable Rom-Coms i love them, and i loved katherine Heigl in Knocked Up.
So i loved this, the atmosphere was great laughter all round, the OH was laughing as much as me, he found Gerard Butlers character with his chauvenistic comments hilarious... as anyone would lol.
And I have to say the "colin" character was VERY easy on the eye! especially with his shirt off lol!

So yeh easile recommend, funny as hell! 8.5/10.... i'll definitely b*y the dvd when it comes out!

oh dear..... I hated this, then again I don't like rom-coms and neither did my boyf or the 2 scowling sadsacks. For the life of us we couldn't understand why everyone was guffawing, it was pants, cheesy and just not funny. All the best bits were definately in the trailer. It had a few 'rude' phrases in possibly to be all 'wow it's not just your typical rom-com' but it was imo just the lame same old same old with a few bad swear words in that didn't seem to fit in with the script of film. It just didn't seem right to see a mouth with teeth as gleamy white and perfect as Katherine Heigl's saying c*ck several times over. 3.5/10

I thought it was OK - not brilliant but an OK way to spend an evening. My OH on the other hand thought it was pants.

Lol, as much as I like Gerard Butler I was rooting for Colin in this. I almost shouted out 'what are you doing - you have him!!!' when she made her little speech in the hotel scene but hey ho this is a film not real life. No one is their right mind is going to let all that hard work go to waste :D

What is it with the Colin character? I thought he just looked weird (that peculiar upswept hairstyle) and OK, this was the fault of the script, but he seemed to have zilcho personality. Someone (on IMDB, I think) referred to him looking "like an underwear model", which is about right, but then, I don't see the attraction in Brad Pitt or Leonardo Dicaprio either - two more weird-looking men.

I agree the Colin character was lovely to look at. Was mildly amusing film, but don't think I will be b*ying the DVD.

I had tickets for this but was turned away when we got there as it was full! Really annoying and surprising as I've never been to a full screening - even when tickets are gone and friends can't get any - the cinema has always been at most 3/4 full.

Sounds like it's worth the money though - or maybe just wait for dvd. Am quite partial to Gerard Butler though!!!

Well here's my late views on this film, having gone to see Adventureland only to be turned away yesterday at WIQ, so I ended up seeing this. There's not much more to add to whats been mentioned before
I thoroughly enjoyed it surprisingly, didn't have high expectations of it. It did make me laugh out loud esp. the restaurant scene, which was a very good update of the When Harry met Sally scene. However I have to say gerald butler did look like a beaten up boxer rather than a rom-com male lead...
