I wouldn't have normally done this via Ebay but she said that she got her last bottle on Ebay, but that was in the US and last night she mentioned how that bottle had already been partially used... thanks for telling me that now. Grrr. But yeah, I'll most likely be getting her another, real bottle.

Well, there's certainly no reason why you should have know. I am surprised though, Chanel seem very restrictive over sales of their fragrances. You won't find them on any discounted fragrance site and I know that recently Debenham's had a sale on everything in their fragrance dept with the one exception being Chanel, of course.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Chanel is a different stand altogether though. Right? Issey Miyake wasn't on sale either (never is), nor was Dior (abit strong for my liking) or Cartier.

Perfume Shop had alot of things really well discounted. I was suprised to see Chanel discounted too. I regret not b*ying it but I wanted my Boots points. :tears:

Hope you get your money back, I would be really mad to have pa*d that price and find out it was a fake. I don't use ebay that much these days, I find a lot of stuff (CDs/DVDs ect) can be more expensive on there than Amazon, and you are always worried about getting a fake one.

Hope you get your money back - I have to say that on the two occasions I have contacted paypal they have always been quite quick to refund me so fingers crossed.

I only wear Chanel Coco Mademoiselle (I used to wear Chanel Coco) and I have to say I am always on the look out for a deal on it but sadly have only found it once in John Lewis and the saving wasn't anything worth shouting about.

If anyone ever sees it cheap (but genuine) please let me know........

Oh how frustrating! Hopefully the seller won't put up much of a fight and refund your money. Does it at least smell the same as the real deal? Or nice at least?

I love Coco Chanel or Prada for evenings. Jo Malone fragrances are also lovely and never discounted.
I've only ever b*ght jewellery on ebay which I thought was too good to be true; freshwater pearl and silver ear rings for less than £10 which I took to the local jewellers and they are genuine hence got white, grey and pink pearls.
Good luck getting your money back.
