WOW.

After already surviving 2 rounds of redundancies at my firm, they are deciding to kick-start 2011 with another round, with 50-90 people to go from the UK business (100 or so already gone in the previous 2 rounds).

Waitrose have an impressive refund policy of which I was unaware until today. I returned an item costing about £5 and asked for a refund. I noticed the card reader showing double the amount and pointed out to the cashier that it was far too much, only to be told that they double the amount to compensate the customer!

Sucks HARD!!!!

I know the feeling as we had some in the run up to xmas but luckily i wasnt affected. But to do it after the new year, well there are no words to the type of people that do such things.

What of work does you company do? If you dont mind me asking.
