I'm not even allowed to look at that site at work so it won't be worth it by the time I get home.

I think they may have released more tickets as I just got the Million Dollar Quartet musical Saturday afternoon tickets (the 8pm show was available too)t for £5 each with a £1.75 transaction fee. It says restricted view but had a look on theatre monkey and the Noel Coward Theatre restricted view don't look too bad and for that price... I didn't click on the meal deal link for £15 but clicked on the theatre tab and put it in as a show search.

Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead exhibition at the British Museum: 2 for 1 ticket offer, plus 10% off exhibition catalogue

The Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead exhibition at the British Museum allows visitors to discover the important mythical and spiritual ideas of ancient Egyptian life and death.

The beautifully illustrated spells on papyrus and linen on display were used for over 1,000 years, and the oldest examples are over 3,500 years old. Many of the examples of the Book of the Dead in the exhibition have never been seen before, and this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these fascinating and fragile objects.

Digital media and recent research are also used to interactively interpret the Book of the Dead and complete scrolls will be reassembled and presented in their original form for the first time.

The exhibition runs until 6 March 2011. Under 16s go free, and Evening Standard readers can b*y 2 for 1 adults tickets (normally £12) for selected dates until 16 February, and can also save 10% on the exhibition catalogue.

TO BOOK
Call 020 7323 8181 quoting 'EVENING STANDARD' or book online at http://www.britishmuseum.org/bookofthedead and enter 'STANDARD' on checkout.
