I can't raise much enthusiasm for this one - it's the big 60! All my (older) friends keep telling me that 60 is the new 40 and I'm trying to convince myself this is true. 50% success rate - the mind is willing to believe, but the body is failing!

'Time flies, so live life to the full and be happy'.

    Ha ha! No Saga holiday for me just yet - cruising round the Maldives for 2 weeks in a dive boat in a few months time to celebrate, so something to look forward to!

    Unfortunately, because of recent changes to pension ages, no free bus pass etc. for me until January, 2012, but I agree, us girls do still have fun! Too much drink celebrating this week!

    Afraid you no longer get your bus pass at 60..it's being delayed bit by bit and I know the feeling as I turn 60 this year but won't get my bus pass until I'm 61+! Even this perk of being such a grand age has been eroded.
