Knock2bag Comedy Night, 19/02/11 19:30 at Tabernacle Notting Hill

In three short years, Andi has made a big splash on the comedy scene, with much talked about appearances on Mock The Week, Tonightly and most recently Ch4’s new topical show, Stand Up For The Week
“Recommended” - Time Out Having reached the final of no less than five major new talent competitions in her first year, Osho is definitely regarded as one to watch

“Translating Osho’s words to the page doesn’t do her proper justice… her work is visual, narrative and pivots on her perfect delivery.” - Guardian As well as an established performer on the stand up circuit, Andi is proving to be a popular guest on radio and TV for her cheeky, quick wit and effervescence.

Only this year her appearances included several guest spots on Radio 1, Big Brother’s Big Mouth and Little Brother (E4) and The Culture Show (BBC2).

Hurried Steps by Dacia Maraini

Wed 9 March 2011 7.00pm

Written in association with Amnesty International by Italy’s foremost playwright and advocate of women’s rights, this powerful hour long play tells the true stories of women from around the world who have been victims of violence. The play will be followed by a discussion and audience Q&A.

“The stories are hair-raising…..this is an important step….small as it is…..to raise the consciousness of the world to this endless existing problem. It’s BEAUTIFUL work from the actors, director and designers..” Blanche Marvin, London Theatreviews
This event is part of the Wisewords festival which celebrates women's writing.

Free of charge

Amnesty International UK, The Human Rights Action Centre, 17-25 New Inn Yard, London. EC2A 3EA.
