Hall Pass
Re: Hall Pass
I must admit I did have a few laughs at it, it wont suit everybody and will depend what sort of mood you are in, but I liked it, 7/10
Re: Hall Pass
Hi, I saw this film yesterday evening. It was very funny but vulgar in places but for people who love crude humour, it was ok. It did have some sweet emotional moments as well as good humour (Stephen Merchant). It was a light movie and not low on entertainment factor so overall I would give it a 6.5/10.
Re: Hall Pass
Would give this an 8/10 as it was a lot better than expected and pretty funny.

Re: Hall Pass
Hi, watched this last night at West India Quay in screen 1.
I find with comedies they generally fail to deliver, I usually dont mind gross-out comedy movies along the lines of American Pie or Theres something about mary unfortunately this was an average movie with several laugh-out-loud moments but not enough. The film was 1hour 45 minutes so you are out of the cinema by 8.20pm. Highlight of the film was Stephen Merchant scene during the end credits so dont leave straight away if you like him.
Bring on Limitless next week!

Re: Hall Pass
To be fair, was anyone expecting a ground breaking comedy?
To me it was what was expected, a half decent comedy film. Nothing amazing, but nothing id complain about.

I'm going to see this tomorrow and even after reading a lot of your comments I'm still looking forward to seeing it. All I'm looking for is a half decent movie that is going to give me a few cheap laughs and keep my mind occupied for a while. Hopefully it will deliver!!

Re: Hall Pass
I was glad to see the farrelly brothers grow up a bit and deal with milder gross-out comedy from a more mid-life crisis viewpoint instead of trying to appeal to a purely adolescent audience...

Couldnt agree more with sandypiper!
Jokes were cliche, got annoyed by some things as they were so predicatable, it had a few cheap laughs but I think its possibly more of a guys film :/

Re: Hall Pass
Just seen this tonight at Liverpool Switch Island, cinema was quite full. I'm a big fan of Owen Wilson and find that when he's on form he's very
funny. However, I wasn't expecting quite so much of the crude humour that there is in this film. Especially as I had taken along my 17 year old son
and my daughters boyfriend. They really loved the film and never stopped laughing.
Mostly I found the film enjoyable, there were some really funny moments, and some eeeww moments that also caused laughter, we were still laughing about one in particular as we walked home.
