The future of SFF...

#1 Post by cellar_door » Fri Aug 21, 2009 6:18 pm

I posted in the Bargain Board about a voucher for Zizi's SFF e-mailed.

It came via the website http://www.seefilmfirstau.com/

I thought maybe it was their Australian site but realised thats usually .com.au and Australians use the same site we use in the UK I understand.

As they have branched into theatre, there was those IceAge3 watches and now restaurant promotions I was wondering if anybody had any ideas about what the website above is about? Is it something new they are moving into?

Cheers, Cellar

They're probably just separating the Australians into a new site...

they've sent another zizzi link to people not long after saying there was problems with the first one, so maybe they sent it from the australian site by accident????

hehe yeah I got 3 e-mails from SFF about the link.

They forgot to hyperlink the .pdf bit at the end.

In the end they sent it as an attachment.

Not the first time, nor the last.
They've just emailed requesting feedback for Avatar, except two-thirds of the link is missing. You'd think they'd have figured it out by now, but no offence to them they don't seem to be very good on the technical side (i.e. hiring a company to make their website, then put it on auto-pilot, then don't know what to do when anything goes wrong)

Pretty poor isn't it, to have to send 3 emails for a simple link?? Perhaps they wanted an early day as it's Friday! Can't blame them for that I guess. Still I can't complain as the voucher will come in handy on Sunday. Keep up the good work I say.

... yes the hyperlink screw up on the Avatar feedback was fun too - lucky most of us can figure these things out...feel sorry for the common or garden web user
