Carte Noire offer "watch and listen" to a reading from selected books on their website, aiming at the ladies I guess, given the narrators...
Each reading is about 15 minutes, and the three narrators are Dominic West (of the Wire), Greg Wise and Dan Stevens. There are readings from classics (this is associated with Penguin) and modern novels too. Here's a link to one of them, but scroll down and you can browse the options. http://www.cartenoire.co.uk/life-class
I guess it is for the more mature listener too, as the introduction says "Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin." which more mature FMUKkers will remember from their childhood.
