Travelodge: £15 room sale

The key to bagging bargain rooms at budget hotel chain Travelodge is timing. The hotel chain tends to release discount £9 - £25 room sales in tranches, and leave them until they sell out.

The next £15 room sale starts 6am Thursday 7 April 2011. The deal’s valid for stays 21 April to 4 May 2011. (Normally you have to book 21 days in advance, but for this sale only, you can book anytime.) The non-sale price is about £29 to £59.

Hotel chain Premier Inn* is selling 450,000 autumn and winter rooms at £29 per night. The cheap rooms went on sale Monday 13 June, and demand is likely to be high for popular destinations. You can stay from 5 September 2011 until 8 January 2012.
