AYBG thought there would only be missing messages but anyone registering in that period would no longer be registered after the restore, and that is probably what happened to you.
What steve said. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I'm having real problems logging in. When i get an email notification and have to log in using the link, most of them send me on a loop of log on again, but one email link http://174.37.162.34/~fmukorgu/forum/viewforum.php?f=2 lets me log on with no problems

The ones that won't are http://forum.fmuk.org.uk/viewtopic.php? ... 197&e=1197
http://forum.fmuk.org.uk/viewtopic.php? ... 150&e=1150
and the page i bookmarked

I'm only saying in case it helps you work out what is happening. My problems have only started today; this morning, lunch and just now.

Also could you send me the correct address so i can bookmark it

many thanks in advance

Oh and lastly i sent this exact email this morning and it seems to have disappeared 8O  :| :undecided: :X

People are mentioning this problem so its hard to keep track of where I've posted what.
I have an update on the instructions - if deleting board cookies doesn't work you should delete your browser's cookies and cache/temp internet files.
This will log you out of any sites you're logged in on, but should solve the problem.
