aha fortunate for you this is not a 'last ever fried mars bar' thread. generally you need to go up north to get them, lancashire and tyne and wear.

i knew a little chippy in Chester-le-street durham that did them but I hear that closed down in the mid norties. :cry:

You don't need to go up north for them. The chippy along the road from us sells them :D
My OH informs me that they do deep fried Snickers as well. What gourmets we Eastenders are!

LOL, I thought this is a Scottish delicacy like haggis.
But I agree with the East End gourmets - after all there is a German sausage stall on Lewisham High Street! o/

I've obviously led a sheltered life in Manchester as I've never heard of them. The East End and further up North is wear its at!
