    I watched it too :) Thought they were going to abandon the mission when the countdown froze at 31seconds!

    I remember watching the very first Shuttle launch (Colombia, the one that sadly exploded) and its return home after 3 days I think it was. 1981. I was a 10 year old star wars nut at the time and these shuttle missions were magical to me. I had hoped to witness a launch live when I was on holiday in Florida, specifically timed for the launch but it had been postponed :(
