It's difficult to tell how it will look/read/feel until you have more content so sounds like a good idea to get going on that!!
I look forward to reading your reviews!

I didn't move the twitter feed. I shrank and moved the background graphic. The twitter feed isnt that important to me, it's more of a bonus feature, I think. I like having it there but I don't think it's going to make or break anything.aruif wrote:your twitter feed etc looked better up top![]()

Bah! Thanks for pointing out my typo. That stuff really irks me. I need to be better about my proof-reading.prettyxcool wrote:Well done soonforgotten!
I agree the background is too busy and distracting as well, so found it difficult to read. Too be honest, I always find white wording on black background difficult to read, not the size of the font (larger fonts looks like it is shouting anyway?) but that is me! I also spotted a teeny weeny typo? "Stuff should have been even more thankful for that"
Enjoyed reading your blog so far though!

Thanks, ft. I'm not sure. I'm pretty new to this- I haven't blogged since my old livejournal days and this is quite different. I'm feeling increasingly self-conscious about it all, but I'll just grit my teeth and wait for that to eventually pass.funthing29 wrote:Nice looking site, sf. The white on black background is very clear and easy to read.
Are there going to be tabs and sections on the left side of the page?

Recently Canadian_turtle introduced me to Goodreads.com for book talk, I run a cricket website which I spend a fews hours each week writing editorials and match reports. The rest of my jumble up thoughts are unleashed on my poor fmuk friends here
Obviously if one is looking for larger readership, blogging is the way to go and I actually do have my 3 domains with empty webspace. One I plan for Health and Fitness, another for movies, games, books and another for cricket. But I just never had the time yetThing is if I do, I fear I would spend less time here and I do feel at home here!
But well done SF for getting on the wagon, I think your blog will be great![]()
