the longest period so far when I've gone to the cinema every day is ten days in a row, and have done twice a day quite a few times but I know Beate managed to get to 3 cinemas in one day during last years LFF.

That's dedication for you - I don't know how you get a chance to post all those great codes and comps - you must spend nearly all you spare time in the cinema!phunkygal wrote:the longest period so far when I've gone to the cinema every day is ten days in a row, and have done twice a day quite a few times but I know Beate managed to get to 3 cinemas in one day during last years LFF.
I notice from your signature that you only have 8 films to go until you reach 100 - that should only take you a week or two

Re: The "I don't have enough time for all these movies" thread
I have once seen three films in a day - I was pretty knackered afterwards! I have three films next week, one film on my holiday, three films in the week after my return - at that rate I should have reached my target by October! It's a hard life...

I did 3 films in 2 days damn near crippled my poor back! I always have a struggle to decide whether to skip my gym class for a film, at the moment the film wins apart from the Wednesday class. I never missed that until next week, How can I resist a bit of Colin Firth

Re: The "I don't have enough time for all these movies" thread
After I lost my job at UIP, I stopped going to films. I actually went to the theatre more times than I'd been to the movies! Since I came across this wonderful site, I'm back in movie mode. I'm seeing all sorts of things that I probaly wouldn't have thought about under usual circumstances

Sometimes, its so last minute, they probably don't have time to put the tickets "back on the system"

I think most people around hear offer any spares or send them back.superhero wrote:Have to agree with destresserai too and people end up doubling (trebling) up on their tickets and might mean more empty seats on the day....

If SFF had a clever system, it wouldn't be a problem. The Times screenbookings system works automatically and basically puts cancelled tickets back the second you cancel them, I have often enough checked (that was when they still told you how many tickets were still available instead of just yes or no).

hmmm....it would help but still all the last minute changing around of tickets doesn't help with keeping the screens full!
Ideally if there were less clashes with different films showing on the same time/date, that would be great!
