The "I don't have enough time for all these movies" thread

#1 Post by deancuk » Fri Aug 21, 2009 9:33 am

So who else is struggling to find time to go to all these screenings. Over the next 2 weeks I have 4 screenings!!!

Funny People
Adventureland
500 days of summer
Julia & Julia

2 of those are within the space of 2 days of each other :p

This forum is great, and I just wanted to say special thanks to everyone who a) shares codes and b) post them!

I just wish they wouldn't keep clashing films i.e. Funny People and 500 Days. Luckily I have been able to swap my 500 Days so I get to see both of them no problem.

Have to agree with destresserai too and people end up doubling (trebling) up on their tickets and might mean more empty seats on the day....

All these films are killing my diet as it against the law for us to go to the cinema without getting popcorn and nachos..... so much for free films... ha ha... Loving all these screenings though and FMUK!! xx

This year I saw 2 movies the same night, it was only possible because the 2nd film was an 8.30pm start in the same cinema. :D

One week I saw 4 films in 3 days. I had to run from a screening of Antichrist at the Curzon to the Empire Leicester Square to see Mad, Sad and Bad - We didn't even have time to claim the free 'Rusty Toolbox' cocktail from the Antichrist screening!
