Re: The Health Thread
If your throat is that painful & regular painkillers are not helping maybe you should have a doctor look at it incase you have a bacterial infection. If you look in the mirror is it just red or have white spots?
Hope you feel better soon.

Re: The Health Thread
hey Clare , i really hope your feeling better by now !
But in case your not then heres my input , first and foremost i would recommend drinking lots of green tea with added fresh mint , this is an amazing natural remedy for just about anything ! secondly you can get a medicine packet off the shelves in the supermarket called motilium, its for nausea and it should really help if your feeling sick, for the sore throat i recommend the old gargling with dispersible aspirin tablets and also honey and fresh lemon mixed in a tablespoon , if you can use manuka 10+ or more honey that will perfect , lastly if you would like a homeopathic remedy then Arnica (available from boots) is excellent for a whole variety of ailments, check it out on the net if you have never heard of it before ,
get well soon :)

Re: The Health Thread
Wow thanks for all that, moviemann some great tips there. Thankfully the sickness has stopped, just trying to get back to normal eating now. On the bright side, I've lost a stone in weight since Wednesday night! Not the best way to lose weight, but who cares!!
