HUMBUG is a challenge to assumptions and received wisdom. If unfair, it should be met with counter-arguments; if justified, it should be accepted as a reason for change and improvement. Vilification of those with the guts to point out the pretense and deception in our lives, however common and popular, is not appropriate. This is why a bit more humbug would benefit us all...

It's okay to like Christmas! To be honest, a few years back I absolutely hated it... more so because I was revising for January exams which was a pretty much week after Christmas so Christmas would mean revising. I never got to it since the festive season makes you not want to work! It was the stress of it though at the back of my mind. Hope this one will be stress free!

Yes to be honest it was the stress of it and the financial implications that put me off, oh and a mother that wanted everything perfect ! all show.
We do have a very small tree for my grown up children and partner, the grown up children have CASH, I don't send cards and all my friends know I am a Bah Humbug and don't give me presents (crap).
I am allot happier about it all now and stress free...
In fact one of my friends who was Christmas shopping in the rain said I wish I was a Bah Humbug...
I was at home watching a film with a lovely steaming mug of tea ... :D
