Why do people post codes on the Internet
This is really unfair and we (and most of the database) struggle to understand why people do this. You post the code anonymously, and stop other people getting tickets, for the sake of giving them to strangers who wont even thank you?!

If we do trace people doing this we will take them off the database, and we appreciate help from other members in tracking down these people – its pointless, and stops you getting tickets! However, you will usually find that by the time third parties get a code and put it on the internet, all tickets have been allocated to our members!

^^^ they forgot to add the reason that they hardly ever send out codes by email and you'd see a film once every two years if you waited for them

It's probably still in the process of moving details over?

Yeah, I will wait a few days.

They have always had this paragraph about people posting codes on the internet, I don't know of anyone whose details have been removed from their database, they would have a hell of a job on their hands, and it's not like people couldn't re-register under a different email address and slightly different name.

Beate wrote:And why was it necessary to rebrand? They still have "film" in the title. No one knows.
I suspect this is to do with the fact that in the last year or so they have started giving tickets away to theatre performances and classical concerts amongst other things. So I suppose the use of the word 'show' covers these as well, instead of seefilmfirst which of course only suggests cinema tickets. It does say on the site itself 'Get to see shows, concerts and events'. Keeping the word film in the title suggests that it will still concentrate mainly on film previews with the occasional tickets for 'shows', much like seefilmfirst does now.

I just tried to log in and it's not very clear when you are, there's no note saying 'Welcome [screen name]', usually found at the top right next to a 'log out' option, which is also not present. So when I initially tried logging in I thought it failed. Until I clicked on 'Edit Options' and realised that I was successful.

Does anyone know who to log out??
Preferred cinemas: All Central London: APOLLO Piccadilly, EMPIRE Leicester Sq; ODEONS: Leicester Sq/Covent Garden/West End/Whiteleys/Panton St; VUE: West End/Fulham/Islington, CINEWORLD: Haymarket/Shaftesbury Ave; Brixton Ritzy,
Then: Westfield, o2, Clapham

I definitely found it very confusing when I looked yesterday, as I couldn't see how to log in, in the first place, and I certainly couldn't see some of the features to which others were referring, such as "My Orders". Only by clicking on "Register" did I reach a screen where you could also log in if already registered, but even when I tried, I couldn't tell whether it had recognised me (i.e. whether my details had been transferred, as stated), and as for how or where to log out again, I've no idea.

The site certainly has a lot more features than before but so far it doesn't seem easy to navigate.
