We know lots of our readers take advantage of free cinema tickets from preview companies so we thought we’d let you now that one of the major players in the preview screenings game – Seefilmfirst is rebranding itself this week so dont forget to bookmark their new site – showfilmfirst. Seefilmfirst already operate a number of websites under various names offering free cinema preview tickets to screenings of new films in cinemas around the UK. They give out codes on films sites like Lovefilm or Empire which you then put into their site where tickets are issued on a first come first served basis. However similarly to first4movies they have today set up a new domain at showfilmfirst which has developed the basic code and ticket issuing at seefilmfirst to offer information on the films, trailers and film news as well as money making adverts.

Users of seefilmfirst do not need to re-register as their details have been transferred to the new system and there’s some great improvements on the old site. For example theres a very useful list of helpful contacts to email if you’ve got a problem (However we contacted them 4 days ago and are still yet to receive a reply!) and under everyone’s personal details there’s a link to ‘view my orders’ which hopefully means you can retrieve e-tickets for any showings you’ve booked and see what screenings you’ve got coming up. The site is still in its early stages with many of the links not fully working but keep an eye out for new codes for this site. Seefilmfirst have recently branched out to offer free tickets for non-film events like theatre, comedy and music concerts and as there are links to theatre sites on showfilmfirst as well then presumably this new site will have a clearer divide between the two sections or perhaps will be joined by a theatre only site later.

And why was it necessary to rebrand? They still have "film" in the title. No one knows.

At least it does indeed recognize me. When I click on "My Orders" I get "You have not yet made any purchases." Purchases??

I just tried logging in and it lets me so our SFF registrations have been carried over. Just thought I'd double check that I didn't need to re-register!

I just tried to login to the new site but i got an error! Doh
I had to register again!

Hm, just tried my OH's registration and it is not recognized, tried it on seefilmfirst and it's there. Should I wait till they move it over or register again?

How annoying that there's a film clip leaded automatically!!! Just started playing Ponyo very loudly! Oops!

yeah thats exactly what happened to me...could login to seefilemfirst but not showfilmfirst so i just registered again

it's kept me logged in even after shutting the page is it doing the same for you? did you log out or clear cookies before trying?
