Hi

Just to say I watched Hurt Locker last night and it gripped me all the way through. It's got no story line, it's just pure emotion, stress and horror, within 5 minutes I was completely immersed in living each second with the people diffusing the bombs and going into every call-out having to be prepared for anything to happen. And things do happen, not every bomb is diffused and not every situation do they all leave smiling happily, watch it and live it!

Hi,
Watched The Final Destination Yesterday...
The Usual Comedy Deaths and No Storyline But was actually bearable in 3d as it's quite an experience having human entrails flying towards your face!!!

Last movie I saw was District 9.

Loved it, even though the "aliens" were not explored enough the film was very good as it was a bit different from the norm.

well worth a view( in my opinon)

"A Good Year" on DVD. From 2005 or 2006. The film in which city whizz-kid Russell Crowe inherits a French vineyard. Either it didn't receive a UK cinema release or the reviews deterred me (don't recall which), but watching it was a waste of time and I dozed off at intervals. Mysteriously, OH had already seen it on tv and said it was "sweet", which is not at all his sort of description. I should have been warned! But the scenery was nice.

Che Part 1. I'm sure it was meant to be good but to be honest it was pretty dull!

The last film i saw was Julie and Julia.

Overall the film was good, except Julie and Julia never got to meet and the alleged negative comment by Julia Child to a reporter about Julie Powell was never substantiated, explained and/or resolved. It left a big black void of unresolved space where the ending was supposed to be.

I love the energy that Meryl Streep exuded in the film as Julia Child. If it is an accurate portrayl of Julia Child then she was one remarkable lady.

I've just watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Please don't ask me why. I haven't got an answer - well all right I do. My friend's six year old has been here this evening, and she knows how much I like films....Thank Goodness I didn't get to a free screening of this. :D
