what are the guides for the '100 films in a year' club?

it depends is their day job being a reviewer or maybe work for BBFC? the BBFC lot must have an even higher tally of films.

But they don't have to watch it in the cinema, they get send dvds to watch at home.

Well I am blessed with an OH who loves nothing more than to go out to watch a film. I had an incredibly good October and went to the cinema 25 times. If I did that every month, I would arrive at 300 films a year. This will remain an exception though, brought upon by the LFF and quite a few vouchers I used. I am guessing that a lot of critics and people in the industry (Claudia Winkleman, Sandra Hebron) watch lots of films on DVDs at home, but soonforgotten is at almost 150 films and it’s only the beginning of November. Ok, so that’s only half of 300 but I still think it’s an achievement, and if someone loves films, entirely achievable.

I think if I were watching 300 films in a year I'd take a cushion with me each time, even the most comfortable cinema seat is never that comfortable.
