The LOTR fan films are amazing as are the batman films (Dead end, Grayson) and Star wars (Duality, Ryan vs. Dorkman)
I think if people have a good idea then they should do everything in their power to get it to the screen even if it's not you behind the camera! So many of my university friends just gave up and sinked into office jobs and they were talented folks.
So I still want to see some western footage! or at least a plot outline!

Ah thanks :) I'm part way through producing a big project with friends of ours, but that won't be out for a while although it will have a premier and has proper funding behind it which is exciting!
I finally got permission to show you a western I produced (although the other films are all last years content so not our best work lol so we generally do not advertise them)
It was for the Doritos competition a year back although i think we were robbed by the twat with the flying dorito over London:
it was very unfair as it's mostly a competition for the public so the advert could be made on a phone/camera/web cam and yet the winner used one of the new red cameras (£30,000 upwards with adapters) and took footage of London (which in the rules stated you had to have permission etc)
Also he got picked up by a production company after even though it was an unoriginal idea lol

That was an excellent entry! Really smooth editing and a funny script. It really is a pity that you got shafted for an entry that broke the rules. Most unfair! But I reckon Dorritos just wanted the best ad for their product and threw all their principles out of the window. I hope your team gets the recognition you deserve now.
Dont punch me but..um..I like the winner's entry too, despite them breaking the competition rules...WAIT, but your one is great and funnier. Phew, think I escaped a broken nose!
