I saw Teddybear1 very briefly tonight, Socialflutterby was being surrounded by friends and family. again thanks to everyone who took the time to send thoughts, cards or donations. I know they both appreciate it very much but are pretty busy at the moment. Please think of them at 12:30 tomorrow, I know a couple of FMUK'ers will be there. It never fails to amaze me how folk who have never even met in real life can show such kindness and concern for their fellow posters.

My thoughts and prayers are with Teddybear1 and Socialflutterby and their family. Although we cannot be with them I know lots of people are thinking of them and the other families at this sad time.

Today's funeral for dad John went very well. Church service followed by committal at Linn crematorium. Both places were very busy which is a great measure of the influence John had on the lives of others but most of all, his family of teddybear1, Social Flutterby and their brother John. We were treated to some of John snr's poetry as he has written many poems, some published. Teddybear1 was given a bunnet (man's cap) which her father had left somewhere Thursday and was to be returned on the Friday, the day of the dreadful accident. She wore it after the church with great pride and also, looked good on her. Today has allowed the family and friends to say a fond farewell to John. Deb1 + OH, karenlg123 and myself were able to attend the funeral and represent the friendships made through FMUK. May John now rest in peace.
