Re: Personal Film Blog
I'm thinking about that. I'm a little concerned it might encourage people to just glance at the star rating and ignore the rest (I know that's what I sometimes do out of laziness!) but I think you're probably right. A rating at the top is probably a nicer way to present the review so I will change it.

This is exactly why the first paragraph (and usually last paragraph) should always be very strong and engaging! (Writing 101David wrote:I'm thinking about that. (I read the first line of your Arrietty review and I immediately clicked on "continue reading"
I think the fact that "MFR rating" and "Rate this film" are now close together actually engages the reader to rate the film!
Me like it :)

Re: Personal Film Blog
How weird! You see stars and I see lines! The stars look good, keep'em. I'll just restart and hit my computer a few times.

Re: Personal Film Blog
Aha. David, your stars don't seem to be Internet Explorer-compatible.
Re: Personal Film Blog

Re: Personal Film Blog
Well it seems IE isn't supported on Mac anymore so I can't check! Are you using a Mac by any chance Celini? Wonder if maybe the character I'm using to make the star is Mac-only? Can anyone using a PC and any browser other than IE tell me if the stars show up? How annoying!
