Well Diane, you have a worthy excuse for not posting and good to see you are following the Marjory Dawes (Little Britain) dust diet, you'll be skinny skinny in no time ;)

Foot is tapping Mr Preston.....

60 laps plus an hour fooling around with the kids in the pool yay! Pretty tired now zzzzz, just waiting for the dye on DD's hair to develop (purple tinged tips for the half term holidays) and might grab a wee nanna nap

No exercise at all for days. My son's birthday weekend has been hectic. Actually spending hours on a bouncy castle fighting ten 4-5 year olds was a heavy workout, my back is done in today from it lol. Son has been to his friends party today as well and it was in a football centre so we've had a good kick around. Back to normal tomorrow now birthday season is out the way

Ha ha yeah the dust diet is always good :giggle: Well done with the swimming and alameals with all his bouncing around.

MrPreston we are getting a tad exasperated waiting for you to surface :nono: Looking forward to hearing your posts and if you think that we are going to forget about you well you are very much mistaken ;)

Moggers and John Milton you are doing brilliant o/
Rather you than me, Diane!

I ended up doing the following:

3x2min skipping.
3x2min footwork and defence.
3x2min shadow work.
5x2min heavy bag.

Finished off with planks, neck bridges and neck harness work.

Time for a beer now! :D

I had to look up neck bridges and harness work - I think that I will be giving that a miss as I don't think a thick neck is a good look on a woman  I take it that you're a body builder or a boxer? It takes me half my time to do planks so obviously my core needs a bit of work.

I'm on a lieu day today so off to Chester for the day with akh43 and I will try to be fairly good but we'll be going out for lunch  We will do lots of walking so that is a bit of exercise.

Have a fun day everyone o/

I like my food too much to be a bodybuilder and I'm too good at blocking punches with my face to call myself a boxer! :D When I was younger, I did a lot of martial arts but mainly muay thai. I didn't do it to a particularly high level and I was never great at it but I do enjoy it and like to keep my hand in when I can.

Walking is totally underrated as a form of exercise, Diane! You don't need any special kit to do it, it can be done anywhere and anytime and most of the time, it won't leave you in agony meaning you couldn't train for the days following a walking session!

Today, I did a 5x5 routine again with squat, bench and barbell row.

How's everyone else doing?

I know that someone here has given up smoking for a month. I dont see she has posted anything here so not sure if she wants to be anonymous about it but I want to congratulate her. That's a huge huge step to ensuring a healthier future, dont ever go back to it. Congratulations if you are reading this! I gave up smoking over 10 years and never went back, infact I seem to be repulsed by it which is a good thing. Smoking is an addiction, its a chain that slowly drags you to hell. I know I've been there but I only realise after I freed myself. You will be richer, obviously healthier and find that during your physical activities, you will have more endurance, to be able to breath in more oxygen than before. Enjoy the new free life.

Hope everyone is doing well. COngratulations to r33ceh on the 10k run, amazing stuff. Almeals, well done on your dieting analysis, makes sure if you do eat carbs to have your carbs in the first half of your day not evening because you burn more of it during the day. If you eat too much carbs in the evening, much of it stores in the fat storage. Moggers regular swimming activities always impress me. And huge well done to Preston for your weight losses and to Diane for ticking you off when you lapse, lol.

I am happy to report I am now in division 1 of my South London Squash league! I didnt think I will be promoted because I won 2 games and lost 2 games in division 2 but when I saw the points table, I was actually in second place so that was enough for promotion. I'm taking a deep breath now because division 1 is going to be a mad challenge for me. I've seen these guys play and I must admit they are technically superior...of course they are but I will try to outsmart them. I am the underdog, nothing to lose, I'll go all out for it and never give up. I want to win this division. BUT I need to lose some body fat. I must get more strict now with my training.

So there I am right at the top division, feels great to see my name up there.
