That's why I didn't go for any tickets! I can't afford taxis, and couldn't work out how on earth to get home. Boo hiss! I wish I was a bit braver, as a friend went and said it was superb.
I took the night buses home and got home at 2am! Well worth it though, had two brilliant nights. My friend went every night and some days too! She was feeling it yesterday, when we met up for a friend's birthday party!

Yes, great views from anywhere. For Gregory Porter and Natalie Cole, we got stalls seats, for All Star Tribute to Bobby Bland we got Circle, last row before the gallery (a couple of old ladies sat next to me for 2 minutes and said they could not cope with the height, and left to change seats), for Ronnie Wood we got the Arena, right down in the centre. All amazing seats. For Bobby Womack, my friend got upgraded to a box!

Here's a couple of snaps

A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"

A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

Who was the other guest singer at Ronnie Wood's Bluesfest performance?

There was Bobby Womack, Mick Hucknall, Paul Weller and it looked like a tall person with brown curly hair. I thought he was introduced as something like Long John Baldwin/Baldry II but that might have been a song cover by Long John Baldry as opposed to the guest singer on stage?

A brilliant Billy Joel concert last night at Hammersmith with support from Fyfe Dangerfield.

Tommy or Tom Hare, he sings with the Ben Waters Band.
It was a fantastic gig, but for me Robert Plant was the highlight of Bluesfest I was up and dancing throughout!

Thanks for the information.

A very effective stage banner used during the Robert Plant show. The lighting made it look so different at times. Even more so than the stage banner used during Tedeschi Truck Band which was great too.

I think it may be a good decision, if next year, they only have one headline evening performance for around 2-3 hours and extend the Bluesfest for a greater number of days. Some sets seemed rather short at only about 45 minutes in the evening. Even the day time performances tended to last for an hour. By doing this it will make it easier for people to catch the last train home. This will avoid the need for getting night buses which can mean long journey times for people when more than one bus is required to get home. It must have been tiring for the staff too with such late nights.

Crikey! You'll be very busy. I would have like to see Editors again. They have been great when I've seen them live - at the Isle Of Wight festival and other times supporting R.E.M. I just went to check their London show info but it's sold out. Enjoy! And I hope you have a good old knees up with Chas n Dave!

Anyone go to The Killers in London tonight?
It was bloody brilliant! They were on top form as usual!

Was a nice surprise gig to go to, seeing as it was only announced last week!
Next gig is 30 Seconds to Mars in Manchester on the 24th. Bit of a trek back up north, but ah well, it will be worth it! :D

Two gigs down - Sleeping with Sirens were absolutely brilliant and I'd definitely go and see them again. But Bring me the Horizon (supported by Pierce the Veil!!!) were outstanding. Top of the list for going to see them next time they tour.

Next weekend is Warped. Happy Days!! :-)

budget gigged Muse in Rome at cineworld. Far from the real live experience and way too many shots of gurning Italian men, but generally a good vid packed with songs without stupid breaks for pointless interviews, its a pure concert video.

For less than £8, not bad.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
