Immigration Solicitors

#1 Post by soonforgotten » Tue May 31, 2011 10:59 pm

Does anyone know any good ones in London? I know there's google and all, but I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with one and would give their recommendation.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Ha... it could go either way, I suppose. It's a complicated matter.

Ask Citizen's Advice. They'll probably put you in touch with the ILPA, but both working together might be able to help you out more than an independent firm.

I hope you stay too and I suggest you change your username to "alwaysremembered"!

My PT who had to fight to stay here after he was threatened with deportation. Not only did he win but he successfully applied for a British passport. It was a very torrid time for him and needed testimonials from his clients etc but his solicitor sorted him out. Sounds like a good one, just sent an email to ask who he used. In the meantime I found this page which seems very helpful.

This website list all London lawyers. Some has star rating but I am not sure that is to be trusted.
