Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Well every reviewer have their distinct style and you know what, he probably writes like that deliberately! I would treadfully when commenting on a non English person's English though, they could be just learning and progressing and by reviewing films, well its a great way to practice. And most of us hardly come close to commanding the English language for us to laugh at others...except for Beate and Kevin ;)

I can't really believe what I am reading here 8O
Let say you are young and you don't really realise what you are saying; I know it's patronising, I am just trying to match your comment!

Would you maybe like to make us laugh and write a review in German/French/Spanish or Arabic (pick one) ;)

Absolutely. There are hardly any English born who hasnt been educated at Oxford or Cambridge who can command better English than a foreigner who makes only a slight effort to learn the proper English language. Even William and Harry have betrayed their Grandmother's English. We are the ones to be bloody laughed at for not speaking our own language properly. Its also frightening the hell out of me too when I just discovered many youngsters are consultuing a certain Urban Dictionary of pure utter trash instead of the Oxford or Cambridge ones.

I am English born, yet my English is no where near as good as yours. So please do "Ha ha" at me. I do have a slight excuse though ;) Me mutha and fatha spoke broken Carribbean English to me all de time. But I wos brou' up in 5 different Peckham Schools, all specialising in the exotic textures of cockney slang. Then I played cricket with Dulwich Cricket Club from which one had been fused with the opposite end of the spectrum in the Queen's language, I dare say. So I is rather proper mixed up...

I think this whole discussion should have been in the "English Init?" thread though.
