I put a request for Dorian last night and it was removed, how come? I actually checked twice tis morning before phunkygal send the new codes...

No posts have been deleted today. If you had posted it, it would show up on "View your posts".
Are you sure you posted it here and not MSE/HDUK?

It does not matter anymore as I got tickets now, but as I said before I checked it twice here this morning. It is most strange! But this is not the first time that happens to me here.

But again nevermind now!

Oh is that what she was talking about!
One possibility is that the post was never actually made - in most boards here, if you post a reply but someone posted one in the same thread while you were writing yours, it'll display the new post and ask you if you want to make any changes to your post before it's published. This has caused confusion in the past when people have assumed their post was published when it actually wasn't.

ML, if you can look for the url of your thread in your history, we can determine whether it was actually posted or not.

AYBG have you done a backup/restore operation recently? It would explain the missing messages. Perhaps the host did it.

I'm so glad you are talking Spanner. I 'd hate Ay By God thinking I was just envious or trying to create an issue. Nevertheless I would like to know if everyone is sorted as I'm not sure I want to invite an outsider. Someone can come with me as you all know I don't have an "other half" nor even a quarter of a half. But it is only one person I can invite.
