Highly Anticipated 2013
Another year, another several hundred, maybe thousands of films to be released....
Which are you looking forward to? Do any of the following take your fancy?
Les Miserables
The Odd Life of Timothy Green
Hitchcock
Lincoln
Wreck it Ralph
Flight Soars
The Last Stand
Safety Not Guaranteed
Playing for Keeps
Iron Man 3
Man of Steel
The Wolverine
Thor – The Dark World
Broken City
The Lone Ranger
The Great Gatsby
Django Unchained
Zero Dark Thirty
Pacific Rim
I am really looking forward to seeing The Lone Ranger (still think Johnny Depp is great in make-up); Lincoln (will Daniel bag another Oscar?); Zero Dark Thirty (can Katherine thrill me as she did with The Hurt Locker?) and also The Great Gatsby (I'm old enough to remember Robert Redford and Mia Farrow in the 1974 version).
Anyway, I think we'll see plenty of great films, and probably more not so great films. Here's to a great year!

Star Trek - Into Darkness!
And I guess Iron Man 3. Anything with Robert Downey Jr. is welcome.

From the top of my head and in no particular order (list will be amended when I have a proper think):
Percy Jackson 2
How I Live Now
Despicable Me 2
Epic
The Hobbit 2
Les Mis
Beautiful Creatures
Star Trek 2
Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters
Cloud Atlas
So lots of book adaptations and sequels!

Re: Highly Anticipated 2013
I was utterly, utterly entranced by the 9-minute Star Trek: Into Darkness IMAX preview and my high anticipation nearly overshadowed that of the main feature, The Hobbit. I really can't wait for that - it looks epic in terms of its action and character drama. Also Django Unchained - might have to sneak into the cinema for that one...

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
