Trailer:
A gem of a movie that truly transcends the notion of the genre as we know it.
Is it a drama? A sci-fi? A heist thriller? A comedy?
The answer - all of the above. A meticulous blend of great writing and superb acting.
A must see & my favourite of the year so far.
PS. In case you were wondering, that's not Kevin Spacey behind the voice of the Robot. It's actually Peter Sarsgaard.
ie. this is not a prequel/sequel to Moon.

Re: Robot & Frank
Thanks for your mini-review.
From the trailer, this looks dreadful.
Just goes to show :)

Re: Robot & Frank
I wouldn't normally want to see anything featuring robots or the like, but on the basis of the trailer only, I thought this looked good. Interesting plot and some decent cast members, so all in all, promising.

I was lucky enough to see this at the Leeds Film Festival. Heart-warming buddy film.

I totally agree about the film. It was so so good. I went half expecting not to like it, but boy how wrong was I! Loved it.
Also a 9/10 from me
