So weird I haven't heard from this friend for about 1 year and now he sends me this talk:
"Hello my Friend
Hope this note finds you well. I'm doing a talk next week and I thought you might like to come. Here are the details...
Presentation of a Fractal Brain Theory, Part #1 of 3
15th October, 2009, Thursday @ 6pm
Middlesex Uni, Archway Campus
Furnival Building, Room 639
Admission: Free
Public Speaker and Independent Brain Researcher Wai Tsang will be
presenting a Unified Theory of Mind, Brain and Consciousness. Some
neuroscientists say that a definitive theory of the brain and mind may
be 50 to 100 years in the future. In this truly stunning presentation
it will be shown that a complete theory of Brain and Mind is with us
today. Furthermore the puzzle of Consciousness will be clarified and
it will be shown that Philosophers and Scientists involved in trying
to solve the puzzle of Consciousness, haven’t been able to find the
right answers, because they’ve been asking the wrong questions. In
that Consciousness doesn’t reduce to the brain but rather the brain
and physical reality reduces to the One Consciousness. This incredible
speaker needs to be heard.
The presentation of the Brain Theory is in 3 parts. This talk on
the 15th OCT is Part 1, with Part 2 to follow on the 5th NOV, a few
weeks later. This first talk was also present several times earlier
this year on the 22nd MAR, 30th APR and the 3rd of MAY.
In Part 1, I show how the brain is a Fractal computing
Architecture and will go through a lot of cutting edge neuroscience to
show the Fractal(Or Self Similar) Structure of Brain organization.
Also I present a powerful formalism or descriptive language for
representing this Fractal structure and the relationships between the
physical components of the Brain. The extensive use of diagrams makes
the ideas presented in this talk very accessible. I'll also be talking about
the Mystery of Consciousness and show how Physical Reality reduces
to Consciousness instead of the other way round as it's commonly
believed."
