Help a confused man!

#1 Post by leebee888 » Fri Jun 14, 2013 11:28 am

Right, I have a problem.....this weekend for the first time in two years the wife is away and my little girl will hopefully be sleeping peacefully in her bed, so I plan on watching a couple of movies. Time like this is a luxury to me so I want to make sure I chose the right films!

My choices of unopened DVD's which have been on the shelf for months without being opened are -

Xmen First Class
Contraband
Hanna
Expendables 2
An Affair To Remember
A Good Day To Die Hard
Flight
The Impossible

or I could get online and rent something else - I want recommendations and reviews to help me make this very important decision

Thanks

It all depends on the types of films you enjoy yourself, I guess, but I really liked X-Men: First Class, if that helps?

I would definitely watch The Impossible, it might make you cry and that way no one will see you cry.

If I were in your shoes, I would go for Xmen, then Hanna, and if you still have some time left The Impossible.

X-men First Class +1
Hanna +1

I heard Flight is good. (You might not be for it, but I actually really liked Wreck-it-Ralph)

The Impossible so you can indeed weep to your heart's content by yourself, followed by X-Men First Class to cheer you up!
