Times+ free screenings info - arrival time, name change, ID
Hi,
I read on the help forums that whoever offers Times+ tickets should go update profile and change name and reprint ticket, a friend of mine booked some tickets for me, but she has never been to a screening. It says 9:30 for 10:30am start for Monster University 3D this Sunday, do we need to actually arrive an hour earlier (on Sunday morning!) to get in? Do they actually check the names/IDs, Times+ membership card (which I don't have of course), what are your experiences? I assume there are no trailers as it's a preview in Odeon Leicester. Any help very appreciated, thanks!

I have been asked for my Times+ card before and the card has been checked against the ticket.

The early start time is probably because of fun in the foyer?

There was no fun for the Times+ early morning screening of Wreck-it Ralph at Leicester Square. Just an hour of waiting.Beate wrote:The early start time is probably because of fun in the foyer?
I think fun in the foyer is only multimedia screenings, not Times/Telegraph ones?

That's right there was no fun in the foyer for Wreck it Ralph, they opened the popcorn counter in the end but it was cash only.
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

These cinema managers have obviously never seen The Shining and the effects of "all work and no play". The fools !Rainey wrote:That's right there was no fun in the foyer for Wreck it Ralph, they opened the popcorn counter in the end but it was cash only.

Re: Times+ free screenings info - arrival time, name change,
Thanks for all the info everyone. I went on Sunday, arrived on the dot, the show was very busy. The lady at the entry (I guess cause there wasn't too much time) didn't check my ID at all, looked at the ticket and gave me two pairs of 3D glasses :) Loved the movie (Monsters University) and love that I could see it nowasamaic wrote:There was no fun for the Times+ early morning screening of Wreck-it Ralph at Leicester Square.
