Looks like a made-for-tv special. Regardless, my mum will love it & has already told me that we will be going after I dragged her along to "Much Ado About Nothing" (she hated that!)

There's at least two Diana biopics in the works about her (upon further research this isn't the one I worked on), and maybe three. Interesting to see. The one I worked on has the potential to do really well.

But of course, caitlin! I wouldn't expect anything less!
I think the birth of Prince George has reignited interest in Diana as there is so much comparison to how Diana changed the way royal children are brought up and expectation of how William & Kathryn will bring up their son.

Yeah, she's really been surging in popularity these last few weeks leading up to the birth. It'll be interesting to see if there does end up being three films how they differ and what they focus on. This one seems more about the relationship with the doctor (?), and the one I worked on...isn't. At all. That's probably all I should say regarding that, especially because it might be completely different (or even shelved) by now.

"The biopic centres on Princess Diana's secret affair with heart surgeon Dr Hasnat Kahn and her ultimately tragic relationship with millionaire playboy Dodi Fayed, who died in the same accident after a high speed chase through Paris."

I may need a few stiff drinks before going to see this :)

I took my parents to see this tonight. Well, there are some truly tragically awful and cringe-worthy lines spoken in the film but I can't hold Naomi "Mulholland Drive" Watts responsible for that.
There are some very eerie scenes and it is an interesting watch though I think Naveen Andrews was miscast and he was behind the ridiculous " you don't perform the operation, the operation performs you..." Pretty sure Nietzsche was not being channelled appropriately for that one.
6/10, mostly for getting 90s London spot on.

The stiff drinks weren't stiff enough for this.

Heroin, perhaps.

My sentiments exactly, went to see it out of curiosity fully expecting a disapointment but this was so cringe inducing that it almost had a comic effect. I say almost, as we all know haw it all ends, Diana really doesn't deserve tributes like this one.
Preferred Cinemas: Gate, Coronet, Odeon Kensington, Whiteleys, Vue Westfield, Shepherds Bush, The Lexi or any West End Cinema
