What film would you recommend

#1 Post by BettyBoop » Mon Oct 12, 2009 9:49 am

Hi everyone,

Me and my husband are in desperate need of a night out....on quite a tight budget what with christmas looming just around the corner!

Ive got 2 get in free tickets for our local Odean so thought this would be an ideal solution to us having a nice cheep night out. Also previews have been a bit thin here at the moment for us as I am back at college now on a Monday & Tuesday so feel like we have been missing out on our "Us Time!".

I wondered what people would recommend us to go watch this Friday night.

The only films that I am not into are horrors but open to all other suggestions....We will probably go to Boldon or gateshead.

xxx

I know you said "not horrors" and I haven't seen this myself (yet - planning to), but Zombieland has had universally good reviews and is apparently funny and not too long.

At the moment I can't see anything wow that's showing in your cinema BB that's worthy of using free tickets. If you can wait until Friday, the imaginarium of Dr P will be released and that looks pretty good....

There's Fame currently showing.... andrews might be able to give a review. I think I read she went and watched it but I can't remember! It doesn't look all that to me... Or the michael jackson film! Hehe!

On a slightlly different note, why are they doing free films just for students and teachers again!!!! and so many films on that website are so new...I see they have the Me and Orson Welles film with Zac Efron already this week showing at BAFTA.

Imag of Dr P is out this Friday if you want to watch that! I don't know what other stuff is coming out this Fri or there's Mr Fox which is released sometimes next week.. Other than those, I can't really see anything good.
