Nothing yet for me either.
Maybe we won't find out what film it is until we are sat in the cinema!

The screened film will be chosen by the promoter and may not be announced until Thursday 29th October 2009.

I got an email saying we wouldn't find out till the night what the film was, that the tickets were on their way and that there would be a goodie bag as well. I guess it'll be something like a Polo keyring?

Tickets not arrived yet but the post has been crap lately and that's without the really big strike coming up and at least there's that email to reply to or maybe print out and take the email plus I printed to PDF the 'congratulations you've been allocated tickets' page so hopefully should work out.

I voted for sex and the city as I haven't seen that from the list given but I'd love it to be Atonement.

Have not had my tickets yet either. Hope we get to know before we sit down in the cinema what film they are showing - would hate to go and find it is a film I don't want to see. I voted for Sex and the City as my daughter and I wanted to see this but never got round to going when it came out. Will the goodie bag be relevant to the film that is showing or some piece of you-know-what that nobody wants!!!

this was the email I got, says you don't find out till the film rolls by the sound of it.
Dear Elski,

Thank you for voting. Now all you have to do is look out for your tickets arriving shortly in the mail and keep your fingers crossed that your favourite film wins the vote to play for the second time on the big screen. And even if it doesn’t, you’ll still get to see a classic, timeless film at the cinema for free.

As well as receiving this unique movie viewing opportunity, you'll also be given a goody bag full of free stuff on the night. And, just when you think it’s the end, we’ll be handing you the chance to win a trip to New York, to spend four days living some of your favourite film moments.

Don't forget, the screening will take place at .....

In fact, you might want to put it in your diary, like Bridget Jones would. Not that that’s the winning film. You'll have to wait until the night to find that out.

do you think the winning film is going to be per cinema or the same one across the country?

edit: if it is across the country then those going to the 3rd nov screening will get to know which it is beforehand.

i've gotta feeling it'll be the same everywhere, probably cheaper that way. i bet the other options were just a con to try n stir up a bit of excitement. well if we don't find out until the film rolls i don't think i can persuade any of the men in my life to come along, i may be calling upon my fellow north-east free film go-ers to lemme sit with them. hmmmm goody bag, i bet it's just a load of phamplets, a test drive offer and a placcy pen!!!! i remember the 'Meet Dave' lunch-bags which i was convinced would be a packed lunch, imagine my shock when we were given real lunch-bags! ha
