The only one I've ever attended is the London Film Festival in October - if you don't count the Adventure Film Festival when it was still free.

Frightfest is quite fun, haven't been to any of the other ones.
Still waiting for my invite to Cannes, Venice and Berlin.

I went to the 2014 Sundance Festival as a volunteer last month and I know they are working on a London Sundance Festival in April at the O2 Arena. As a volunteer you have access to most of the films and panel discussions, including the premieres. It was a great experience, strongly recommended to see how a festival works behind the scenes.
