Has anyone had this comment before?

I tried to get tickets for The Hundred foot journey and there were tickets available. When I logged in to get tickets, this is the message I got and it would not let me get tickets. I'm a bit shocked because I rarely get sff emails even though I'm registered with them:

You have to sign up as a VIP with Show Film First (around £50 per annum) to book these screenings.

It's not that bad, £17.99 per year, but really only worth it if you're in London and like theatre as the film VIP codes are more rare.
