The Wedding Ringer

#1 Post by LatrellBrown » Fri Feb 06, 2015 11:25 pm

I have just come in from watching an exclusive preview screening of the wedding ringer tonight and let me tell you it is a very funny film from start to finish Kevin Hart and Josh Gad equally brought intensity to the film.

8/10

Saw this at a SFF VIP screening at Vue West End a couple of weeks ago, and was embargoed to talk about it. Here's my thoughts.

Pre-film, there was a green screen, pizzas from Pizza Express, sweets, and loads of drinks.

Enjoyable, if you just treat it as mindless comedy, and not take it seriously, it was funny in parts and did raise a laugh But It is so stereotyped. The two leads Kevin Hart and Josh Gad do have chemistry. Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting (Penny from The Big Bang) also stars. 6/10

Saw this at the special screening at Soho Hotel with the Q&A. It had a few humorous moments but overall I didn't find it that funny, the funniest bit for me was the one liner at the end. The Q&A after the film however was hilarious, Kevin is much better live and in person. 4/10
