Merry Madagascar

I went to see this rather short funny film today at Cineworld, Boldon. I had won 4 tickets in a competition run by Tesco. My friend came with me, and her two children.
We were shown into Screen 6 - the largest - seating capacity approximately 500. There were 38 people there for the screening - how sad is that?

I saw a new trailer called 'How to Train Your Dragon', which looked fairly good, and it is going to be in 3D.
Then we had a 5 minute short with the 4 penguins from Madagascar, called Christmas Capers, which was very good indeed.
The 33 minute film, Merry Madagascar, was pretty much what you would expect - all the regulars were there, and Santa Claus made an appearance.

What I didn't realise was that this film isn't actually going to be released on the big screen and that it is going straight to DVD in time for Christmas. Tesco has the franchise on it.
In the USA, Walmart has the rights to sell it, so I'm surprised ASDA didn't get it over here.
Anyway, I think it will make a good little stocking filler, particularly if you have enjoyed the longer films - Madagascar and Madagascar - Escape2 Africa.

Thanks for the review, I have seen it for £5 in my Tesco Express store and was wondering if it was worth b*ying.
